austin kite festival

For thoes of you who want to take part in the kite flying contest at the Austin Kite Festival or the Zilker Park Kite Festival, will need to abide by certain rules. No one is allowed to cut another's strings and everyone has to respect the space for other kite fliers.

and the display site are out of limits too except for thoes who have really expensive kites,

Sunday, March 14 from 10 am to 5 pm is Kite Day at Zilker Park in Austin, Texas
Presented by H-E-B, the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department and the Exchange Club of Austin.
Free Shuttle Rides & Parking at one locations:
Downtown at 1604 Colorado Street
Shuttles begin at 10am (last one leaves park at 5:30 pm)"
